Trekking in Uttarakhand

Dodital Trek
Though you can start on this trek any time of the year, the most ideal time
would be in the month of October. Around this time, the area is brimming
with lush greenery. Besides, you can also indulge in golden trout fishing in
the Dodital Lake.
Roopkund Kauri Pass Trek
The area around the picturesque Roopkund Lake is a hot favourite of
trekkers. Though it lies at high altitude, trekking here can prove to be one
of the finest experiences of one's life. From Roopkund, trekkers can also
soak up bird's eye view of the Himalayan ranges.
Valley of Flowers
This is a place where a fairy tale comes to life. The valley is renowned far
and wide for its largest number of wild flower species. The whole meadow
remains covered with endemic alpine flowers of bright and striking colours.
Here, you can also visit the Valley of Flowers National Park, tucked away in
the western Himalayas. Joshimath (Garhwal) is the closest town from the
Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand.
